Operations Executive  Job Description:

  • Providing invoice and document checking support as required:
  • Primary checking of confirmed bookings  by displaying the itinerary on the system, checking for mistakes and missing elements, reading back the invoices and vouchers, and comparing all elements to the costing sheet
  • Ensuring accurate communication to hotels and ground agents

  • Checking all necessary supplier confirmations have been received
  • Entering Amadeus ticketing deadlines in accordance to fare rules
  • Printing a final copy of the invoice and posting it after any necessary amendments have been made for bookings for departures in 3 weeks or putting through the file for documentation if departing within 3 weeks
  • Printing ATOL certificates to enclose with invoices for direct clients
  • Emailing invoices and documents to travel agents and clients as required
  • Thoroughly checking contents of ticket wallets before dispatch  to ensure every detail is correct
  • Communicating with reservations and other staff regarding any errors/queries arising from the checking of invoices and documentation
  • Produce joining instructions and itineraries
  • Advising airlines of Airline Passenger Information
  • Ad hoc administration and sales tasks as required

  • Precision and attention to detail
  • Excellent and thorough product knowledge
  • Flexible and reliable
  • Experience of using a GDS desired
  • Organisational skills
